Expressing what we believe in our worship, engaging with the gift of liturgy, and allowing ourselves to be renewed in it. Seeking to understand the sufferings of those around us, reaching out and being Christ to one another, and serving the world. Deepening our understanding of our faith, humbling ourselves to learn from Our Lord and each other, and discovering our true nature as the Body of Christ. Empowering all around us with the presence and joy of the Holy Spirit, proclaiming Christ to the world, and being faithful to our mission.

Parish School

St. Nicholas SchoolSt Nicholas is a Catholic Voluntary Aided School. The first St Nicholas school was opened in 1895 at the Mint, which was part of the site on which St Nicholas Priory had stood; this was also the site of the first post Reformation Catholic church in Exeter. Due to ever increasing pupil numbers, the school moved to Holloway street in 1959, to the Matford Lane site in 1974, and to the current new building on Ringswell Avenue in 2007. The school serves the needs of Catholic children living in the city of Exeter and it's surrounds, and keeps close links with the parishes involved. The school's long and continuous history has given it many valuable traditions and has provided the community with the best of Catholic education for over 100 years. The present school aims to continue this work by providing a full range of religious, educational and social opportunities.
